Process and Deliverable

STEP 1: Research Interview

This is where I learn about your services. I talk with you for 20-40 minutes, in a recorded interview, to determine your goals for the case study, your target audience, and the key ideas to feature in the case study.

What you’ll get:

  • A transcript of the interview

STEP 2: Question Development

I develop a customized questionnaire for the customer interview. This focuses on getting quotes from the customer and specific results from using your services.

What you’ll get:

  • A copy of the interview questionnaire
  • A copy will also be sent to the customer before the interview.

STEP 3: Customer Interview

I talk with the customer for 20-40 minutes, in a recorded interview.

What you’ll get:

  • A transcript of the interview

STEP 4: Drafting and Editing

This is where I write the case study copy, based on the interviews. This takes the form of a persuasive success story, including customer quotes and hard stats when available.

Once the first draft is completed, I will:

  1. Send it over to you for review.
  2. Send a copy to the customer for approval and any edits. I will keep checking back until the copy is approved.
  3. Deliver the final draft to you

What you’ll get:

  • A draft of the case study copy
  • Up to two rounds of edits if needed
  • The final, polished copy

STEP 5: Design (Optional Add-on)

If needed, I can source a designer to develop a professional copy of the case study, ready for live events or email. Design prices are quoted separately.
